Lacoste/Keane Gallery presents TIM ROWAN: PRESENCE a solo exhibition of new ceramic work from one of the leading ceramic artists in the northeast. On view from November 10 through December 1, 2018 the exhibition takes visitors into the experience of an object’s presence and how during the time spent at the studio contemplating the materials and processes, the artist becomes ‘present’ with the work. Also, this significant new body of work uses darker clay body with a darker firing reflecting on how he sees our turbulent time.
Unifying Presence in Sculpture and Painting
For the first time, the show will include paintings of renowned international New England based painter and artist, BERND HAUSSMANN that have been selected specially to compliment Rowan's work.
